RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing and publishing trending politics and current affairs stories
- Writing and publishing unique and special format politics stories (features, analysis, history posts, opinions, explainers, etc.)
- Monitoring, gathering and verifying trending politics and current affairs stories
- Conducting interviews and writing exclusive comment-based stories.
REQUIREMENTS:
- First Degree or Higher Diploma (in journalism/media studies or related field will be an advantage)
- Considerable experience in journalism and politics/current affairs reporting
- Perfect writing skills, narration and good grammar
- Great editorial judgment and news monitoring skills
- Impeccable communication and interviewing skills: both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, especially during weekends, including handling multiple tasks and working with tight deadlines
- Must be a self-driven individual with a strong desire to constantly learn, adapt and work under minimal supervision
